Somos Portugal returns to Benedita

Next October 13 (Sunday) is a day of celebration in the town of Benedita, with the presence of the program Somos Portugal at Benecar - Cidade do Automóvel.
Starting at 2pm, the TVI program will be live in Benecar, on a day full of entertainment and promotion for the town of Benedita and the surrounding region.
A day of festivities that brings together various sectors of the Benedictine economy in one place, with the television presence of Somos Portugal.
The town of Benedita is extremely innovative and entrepreneurial, with several sectors of activity as its ex-libris, such as bread, footwear, stone and cutlery. Representing the bakery industry in this year's edition will be Padaria Pedras, Padaria Modelo, Padaria Lérias and O Conquistador. The footwear sector will be represented by four companies: Goucha's Handmade, Raízes, Trofal and Nursing Care. The stone sector will be represented by Solancis and the cutlery sector will be represented by ICEL.
As a good festival should be, gastronomy cannot be missing and the region has a lot to offer in this area. Conventual sweets will be represented by Atelier do Doce. The region's fruit will be represented by COPA, famous for its Maçã de Alcobaça, and Desidrata, dedicated to the production of dehydrated fruit. The famous Serra de Aire e Candeeiros cheese will be represented by Cooperativa Terra Chã and the iconic Malhado pig from Alcobaça will be presented by Sabores do Malhado. Chef Ricardo Raimundo will also be on hand to cook the region's products live, with the utmost refinement and class.
To accompany good food, there's nothing like a good drink. Gin is a drink that has seen immense growth in the region, with several producers investing in this market. Adega Lemos Figueiredo and Companhia Portuguesa will be on Somos Portugal.
Benedita's leather goods will also be represented on the program, with the presence of Montado, a company dedicated to making cork accessories.
With a Benedictine influence, but with a presence in Nazaré, there will be a company dedicated to tourism in Nazaré, more specifically to the famous giant waves: Nazaré Water Fun.
Somos Portugal returns to Benedita on October 13 and promises to bring a lot of festivities to the Cidade do Automóvel. For the fourth year running, Benecar is hosting the TVI program, in an event that aims to promote what is best produced in the town of Benedita, as well as in the surrounding region,
From 2pm on Sunday, October 13, visit Benecar and experience a different kind of day in the City of the Car. Entry is free!
