Benecar opened its workshop doors to students from the Rio Maior Vocational School
Benecar - Cidade do Automóvel once again strengthened its links with education and vocational training by welcoming a group of students from the Escola Profissional de Rio Maior to its premises for an immersive workshop on the various areas of the company's workshop.
Over the course of a morning of sharing and learning, the students had the opportunity to get to know Benecar's technical sections from the inside, including mechanics, electronics, vehicle preparation and diagnostics. This experience allowed them to make direct contact with professionals in the field, clear up any doubts and realise, in practice, how what they learn at school is applied.
The initiative came about as part of Benecar's ongoing commitment to valorising knowledge, promoting young talent and connecting with the educational community. The aim is to give students an insight into the real day-to-day life of the automotive sector and, at the same time, inspire them to explore the opportunities in this area with greater confidence.
More than just a visit, this workshop was an important moment for vocational guidance and getting closer to the labour market. We believe that providing this kind of experience is essential for supporting the future of young people and for building links with the professionals of tomorrow.
