All about the Festival Clássicos Benedita 2025

The Festival Clássicos Benedita was born out of a passion for the automotive world and the desire to create an event that would bring together classic car enthusiasts. Since its first edition in 2023, this Festival has been growing, not only in the number of participants but also in the affection we feel from the community that hosts it.

The idea came from the union between two organisations with Benedictine roots: Benecar - Cidade do Automóvel and Vitorinos Seguros, which later joined forces with Clube Clássicos Portugal to set the first Festival Clássicos Benedita in motion.

1st Edition - 2023

The premiere took place on 10 September 2023 and saw sold-out entries - 100 Classics parading along the region's roads, with an emblematic stop at one of our region's ex-libris, the Monastery of Alcobaça, and a visit to ICEL's facilities. The tour ended with a fantastic lunch at Cidade do Automóvel, followed by the presentation of prizes, diplomas, gifts, entertainment and socialising, in an atmosphere open to the public from 15:00.

2nd Edition - 2024

The second edition, in 2024, confirmed the success of the formula. With another sell-out, the 100 registered cars were divided into two groups and took a guided tour of the Salinas de Rio Maior, the Areeiro da antiga Sifucel and Solancis, in Benedita. Each stop was designed to provide a complete experience, with food reinforcements, stories shared and lots of smiles. At the end, the classics returned to Cidade do Automóvel for the traditional buffet lunch and the presentation of prizes such as Oldest Car, Best Restored Car and Loudest Car.

3rd Edition - Current - 29th June 2025

The 2025 edition marks the consolidation of the Festival Clássicos Benedita. It takes place on 29 June and extends registration to 120 vehicles, maintaining the same spirit of proximity, authenticity and passion for the classics.

The programme promises another memorable day: breakfast and briefing at Benecar, a drive with a visit to Atelier do Doce and a stop by the sea in São Martinho do Porto. Then it's back to Cidade do Automóvel for the usual buffet lunch, prize giving, diplomas and lots of entertainment until the end of the afternoon.

Registration, which costs €30 (€15 for children aged 4 to 9), includes breakfast, refreshments along the route, lunch, a road book, gifts, a participation diploma and the essential official polo shirt.
