Warning: Fake website in the name of Benecar

Benecar – Cidade do Automóvel was surprised this weekend with the creation of a fake Facebook page that misused our name. This page only published a fictitious car giveaway, encouraging users to share and comment on the post and then immediately receive a private message.

This type of practice is online fraud and poses a risk to anyone who interacts with these pages. As we do not know the consequences of responding to these messages, we are issuing a clear warning to all our followers: do not respond, report and block the page.

It is important to pay attention to small details that help distinguish what is true from what is false, such as the name of the page, the number of followers, or recent posts. These signs can make a difference when identifying a fraudulent scheme.
