Lamborghini Fenomeno: the most powerful hybrid V12 in the brand’s history
Lamborghini has once again surprised the automotive world by unveiling the Fenomeno, an exclusive model limited to just 29 units, presented during Monterey Car Week 2025. This supercar is described as a true manifesto of design and technology, standing out as the most powerful Lamborghini ever equipped with a V12 engine.
The Fenomeno combines a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors, reaching a total output of 1,080 hp – 835 hp from the combustion engine and 245 hp from the electric motors. Thanks to this hybrid configuration, the model sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and surpasses 350 km/h of top speed. The weight-to-power ratio is also the best in the brand’s history: 1.64 kg/hp.
The design was conceived as a tribute to the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini Centro Stile, reinterpreting iconic lines with a futuristic and elegant approach. Aerodynamics, inspired by the world of racing, ensure maximum efficiency in all driving conditions. Among the innovations are the S-Duct system, the rear wing with an omega design, and the new interpretation of NACA side air intakes, providing over 30% additional cooling efficiency compared to other Lamborghini V12s.
Inside, the “Feel like a pilot” concept is taken to the extreme. Three digital displays replace most physical buttons, while carbon fiber sport seats and elements produced with 3D printing reinforce the sensation of being in a true race car. Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program further guarantees an almost unlimited level of customization, with more than 400 exterior colors and countless interior combinations.
On the technical side, the Fenomeno introduces brand-new solutions, such as CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes derived from motorsport and an innovative 6D sensor capable of measuring accelerations and forces on six axes, improving driving precision and braking efficiency. Bridgestone Potenza tires, developed specifically for this model, deliver track-level performance while remaining road legal.
Unveiled to the public at the prestigious event The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and also showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Fenomeno joins the lineage of few-off models that have marked Lamborghini’s history, such as the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4. The name pays tribute to a brave bull from Morelia, Mexico, which in 2002 was spared for its courage and exceptional qualities – symbolizing the uniqueness and extraordinary character of this car.
With only 29 units produced, the Lamborghini Fenomeno is destined to become an instant icon, combining the essence of Italian design with cutting-edge technology and performance that takes the legacy of the brand’s V12 engines to a whole new level.
