Vanquish 25 celebrates Aston Martin’s legacy with 50 cars

There are names that transcend generations and become part of a brand’s identity. At Aston Martin, Vanquish is one of them. Twenty-five years after the presentation of the first model, the British manufacturer is marking the occasion with the Aston Martin Vanquish 25, a commemorative edition limited to just 50 units worldwide.

Developed by the Q by Aston Martin personalization division, the new Vanquish 25 pays tribute to the three generations of the iconic British grand tourer. Production will be split equally between 25 Coupé examples and 25 Volante units, available with two- or four-seat cabin configurations.

Rather than creating a radical version or one focused on the track, Aston Martin chose an elegant and discreet approach. The aim was to recover elements from the original Vanquish, presented in 2001, and reinterpret them through craftsmanship, exclusive materials, and contemporary finishes.

A tribute to the first Aston Martin Vanquish

The exterior of the Aston Martin Vanquish 25 is immediately distinguished by the exclusive Q Skye Silver paintwork, a shade inspired by the launch specification of the first generation.

The body also receives decorative elements in metal leaf, a specific Aston Martin inscription, stainless steel side air intakes, and exclusive finishes on the four exhaust outlets. The Vanquish 25 identification appears discreetly at different points of the car, reinforcing the special character of this edition without compromising the model’s characteristic elegance.

The 21-inch forged wheels were also developed specifically for this commemorative series. A subtle V-shaped detail helps distinguish each of the 50 examples that will be produced.

Inside, the atmosphere maintains the combination of sportiness, luxury, and attention to detail. The seatbacks feature the embroidered Vanquish 25 logo, while some decorative inserts receive laser engravings with the Aston Martin signature.

At the centre of the console is a red start and stop button, surrounded by an exclusive design on the rotary controls. The black Alcantara roof lining completes the interior ambience, which can be configured in Onyx Black, Oxford Tan, or Phantom Grey combinations.

As is usually the case with projects developed by Q by Aston Martin, customers will be able to personalize different elements of the car. In practice, this means that there will hardly be two Aston Martin Vanquish 25 examples exactly alike.

A V12 with 835 hp

Despite the visual changes and commemorative details, Aston Martin did not feel the need to modify the mechanics of the current-generation Vanquish.

Under the long bonnet is a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, capable of developing 835 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. Combined with a chassis developed specifically for the model and a body featuring several carbon-fibre elements, it allows the Vanquish to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 344 km/h.

When it was presented in 2024, the current Vanquish became the most powerful flagship production model in Aston Martin’s history. The model currently sits at the top of the British brand’s front-engined sports car range, combining the performance of a supercar with the comfort and refinement of a grand tourer.

This combination has accompanied the Vanquish since the first generation, unveiled at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show. Over three generations, the model became a reference within Aston Martin and one of the most recognizable names in the modern history of the Gaydon manufacturer.

The Aston Martin Vanquish 25 will make its world debut during Monterey Car Week, in California, which will take place between August 10 and 16, 2026. The first deliveries are scheduled for the final quarter of 2026. So far, the brand has not yet announced the price of this commemorative edition.

With only 50 examples planned worldwide, the Vanquish 25 is expected to quickly become one of the rarest and most sought-after versions of the model. A tribute to a quarter of a century of V12 engines, grand journeys, and British elegance, created for a very select group of collectors.
