PHOTOS | 1st Benedita Half Marathon 2025

On September 14, the town of Benedita experienced a historic moment with the first edition of the Benedita Half Marathon, organized by the Benedita Volunteer Firefighters with the technical management of Native Warriors.

Benecar – Cidade do Automóvel was proud to be the official sponsor of this debut, which combined sport, solidarity, and community. Beyond promoting sports, the event also had the mission of supporting the Benedita Volunteer Firefighters, an institution dedicated for decades to protecting lives and property.

The course brought together streets, fields, and natural surroundings, also passing through the Cidade do Automóvel, where one of the refreshment points was set up, turning the venue into a true energy boost for athletes.

Among the most memorable highlights were the start and finish at Praça Damasceno Campos, always filled with spectators cheering the participants.

• 2nd place: Emília Pisoeiro – 1:18:52

• 3rd place: Nataliya Zhurkivska – 1:30:40

Men

• 1st place: Pedro Venâncio – 1:12:10

• 2nd place: Tiago Ferreira – 1:13:48

• 3rd place: Pedro Ribeiro – 1:15:37

10 km Race

Women

• 1st place: Alexandra Oliveira – 37:18

• 2nd place: Ana Bonifácio – 38:19

• 3rd place: Mariana Brugger – 43:03

Men

• 1st place: Fábio Durão – 33:31

• 2nd place: Paulo Pereira – 34:08

• 3rd place: Márcio Dias – 34:23

In addition to the competitive races, hundreds of people took part in the walk and children’s runs, making the day a true community celebration for all ages.
