The end of 2024 has brought many new developments to the car market and one of them is the cars that will be discontinued from 2025.
Benecar presents you with a list of some of the cars that will no longer be produced as the new year approaches, many of them due to the use of combustion engines in order to respond to automobile electrification.
Alfa Romeo folding
The Italian brand has stopped producing two of its Quadrifoglio range models, namely the Giulia and Stelvio. This is due to the use of combustion engines. Despite the decision, the same models may reappear in a few years' time in hybrid or electric guise.
Three from Audi
The German brand has discontinued three models from its range, cutting the A4, A5 Cabrio and A5 Coupé. The A4 had been in production since 1994 and has now been discontinued, with the A5 as an alternative. Nevertheless, we may see the model return in the future. The Cabrio and Coupé versions of the A5 will also follow suit, with only the saloon version of the model available.
One less MINI
MINI has also discontinued one of its models, produced since 2007: the Clubman. There is no replacement planned for the BMW Group brand.
Mitsubishi gets a Space Star
The Japanese brand has announced the discontinuation of the Space Star, one of Mitsubishi's most affordable models. There are no plans to create an alternative to this model.
Other discontinued cars
These are some of the main models that went out of production with the start of the new year, but there are a few more cars that will be discontinued from 2025 onwards:
Porsche Cayman
Toyota Supra
Volvo S60 (petrol version)
Nissan GT-R
Jaguar F-Type
If you're looking for any of these cars that are no longer being produced, take the opportunity to buy those that have left their last production and are available on the market, as these cars are discontinued from 2025.
