Benecar honoured with the ANECRA Excellence Award 2025 in the Used Car Trade sector

The 2025 edition of the ANECRA Awards was an emotional and celebratory moment for Benecar, as we were distinguished with the ANECRA Excellence Award 2025 in the category of Used Vehicle Sales — a recognition granted to entities that stood out the most in the development and professionalization of the automotive sector in Portugal over the past year.

Nuno Grosa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benecar, was unexpectedly called to the stage at the 36th ANECRA Convention, moments after a presentation that revisited the company’s history, from its early beginnings to the present day. The video, filled with emblematic images of the evolution of the City of the Automobile, highlighted Benecar’s solid growth and the decisive role played by someone who has been with us since the age of 16.

Nuno Grosa’s journey is a rare example of dedication and entrepreneurial vision. He began in the Car Wash department, later moving through Parts, Sales, Accounting, Financing Management and General Management, eventually assuming the leadership of the company. He experienced every department, every challenge and every stage of Benecar’s growth, actively contributing to transforming the company into the national benchmark it is today.

This distinction, announced at the closing of the 36th ANECRA Convention, strengthens Benecar’s credibility and impact in an increasingly demanding and competitive market, where transparency, quality and innovation are essential for success.

The award recognises the continuous work carried out by Benecar in the used vehicle segment, an area that has seen strong demand, greater technological requirements and the need for more rigorous processes.
